The movie illustrates that God must be the center of every relationship. And if you put God first, things will fall into place.
Here are some of my favorite lines from the movie:
When a man is trying to win the heart of a woman, he studies her. He learns her likes, dislike, habits and hobbies. But after he wins her heart and marries her, he often stops learning about her. It is a lifelong journey that draws his heart ever closer to hers.
-Cheryl Holt
A woman's like a rose, if you treat her right, she'll bloom, if you don't, she'll wilt.
-Michael Simmons
Never leave your partner especially, in a fire.
-Caleb Holt

| My favorite part in this movie is whenever Caleb and his Dad are having a conversation. |
-John Holt
I like that the director, added this scripture at the end of the movie:
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
-Romans 5:8
To end this post, let me share this short but wonderful scripture:
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
-1John 4:8
Have a blessed day! :)

ReplyDeleteFireproof is an awesome movie. The story is real and is now the problem of so many couples here in the US. And with out God in the midst of any relationship we can't resolve any problem there is. Great post and blog hopping here. Thanks for the space and happy Monday!
